Lumish is a name inspired by the most cherished people in my life—my grandchildren LUke, MIkayla, and SHepard. They are my greatest inspiration. As a dedicated rock collector, I gather rough stones and carefully tumble them, fascinated by the hidden beauty within each one. What appears at first as dull gray or brown transforms into vibrant, multicolored stones that reveal nature’s artistry.

Rocks connect us to the Earth and remind us to stay grounded. Over time, my collection grew so large that I wanted to share their natural beauty with others. I began gifting polished stones to friends and family, but many didn’t share my same appreciation for these treasures. That led me to learn how to craft pendants, showcasing the stones in a way others could wear and enjoy.

I prefer to preserve the natural shapes that emerge from the tumbler, although I sometimes shape and hand-polish stones to enhance their shine. Occasionally, I incorporate pre-shaped rocks or cabochons, which I usually repolish myself. My creations celebrate imperfection—these unique flaws add character and deepen the beauty of each piece, making them truly one of a kind.
